Operations

The clinical trial operations team at KCTU manage a portfolio of large multicentre trials, ensuring that the trial management, data management, central and study site monitoring are all undertaken to a quality standard. The team is led by senior staff with clinical trials qualifications and extensive experience in the delivery of complex clinical trials. Where operational support is requested, the unit should be approached at least 4 months in advance of the submission deadline. Priority is given to NIHR funded multicentre definitive trials. KCTU is committed to creating a stable career pathway for staff within the operations team, ensuring that they are supported in their development to gain the methodological knowledge required of expert operations staff, alongside gaining experience in the conduct of large complex trials.
